The Doghouse Kennel, which has been in business for 20 years, is owned by Janet and Lee Messick.  Janet and Lee have lived on the property for 30 years and have three children, Laura, Jeremy and Justin.  Janet has had a lifetime of loving animals and is a loyal supporter of local shelters.  She has served as secretary of the local Humane Society in the past years.  The Messicks are members of the ABKA ( American Boarding Kennel Association).  The kennel is heated, air conditioned and equipped with a fire alarm.
